AquaFalls
Waterfall kit including an mechanical filter, biological filter and
waterfall form all-in-one!
Aquafalls units are available in 3 different sizes, each unit
provides complete mechanical and biological filtration as well as a housing for the
beginning of a waterfall or stream. Simply bury in the ground for minimal water drop
or raise to create a more dramatic waterfall effect.
AquaFalls filters are easy to install! With other biological
waterfalls you have to bolt the front lip to the filter then use expanding foam to hold
the fake rock lip in place. The AquaFalls filter has a simulated rock lip built
right into the lip so you don't need to mess around with the expandable foam and hiding
the edge. Simply bolt the rock lip to the filter and you're done!
AquaFalls are also exceptional in that they offer the landscaper (or of
course, the homeowner too) complete flexibility in the location of attaching the
pump tubing to the AquaFalls. Other units only offer the plumbing attachment in the
back but the AquaFalls unit offers an opening on the right AND left side of the unit,
making water flow greater and less plumbing "elbows" to deal with (which cuts
down water pressure). Having an opening on both sides of the unit also provides an
option to use one opening for a drain while the other opening is used for the inlet of
water. Using an optional drain feature is ideal for cleaning the unit.
Simply let the water run in through one side of the filter and let the dirt and debris go
out the other side! You would need an optional ball valve to attach to the
other opening when not draining or cleaning the filter. Simply keep the valve closed
when the AquaFalls is in use and open the valve when you want to clean the filter.
Ball valve not included. If you decide not to use the second opening, we've included
a bulkhead plug which will tightly plug the second opening and stop from any water loss.
Each AquaFalls filter includes an internal filter support stand which keeps the
filter pads off the bottom of the filter to prevent plugging.
